Pansies have a long history of being cultivated starting 2,500 years ago in Greece. But the vibrant colorful flowers we’re now familiar with were hybridized in England in the 1800’s by Lord Gambier and his gardener William Thompson – and we’re glad they did! The hardy Pansies that have developed from their work stand up to New England’s cold spring days and late winter snow so don’t worry if any weather like that heads our way – as soon as it melts, these will greet you with their colorful faces!
We have a nice selection of 6″ pots ready for your early spring gardens and containers. Need Pansies in quantity? Give us a call!
