Dwarf Ginkgo biloba ‘Troll’ are super easy conifers (yes, conifers) to tuck into the landscape adding fantastic texture, an interesting leaf form and pure gold in fall. Plant them in borders or foundation plantings without worrying about them over-growing the site as it’s a slow grower and stays quite compact. These grafted ‘Troll’ make it easy to appreciate the leaf form up close, and it works for under-planting with low growing perennials and spring bulbs.

If you’re looking for something more traditional Ginkgo-wise, we also have the species (Ginkgo biloba) plus ‘Autumn Gold’ (symmetrical habit, great fall color growing 40-50′), ‘Princeton Sentry’ (upright narrow habit growing 40-50′) and ‘Saratoga’ (compact, upright growing 25′).

Plant Ginkgo in full sun in well-drained soil. They are tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions and urban sites. They’re also deer resistant and hardy to zone 3!
