Double scoops in the summer are so satisfying…especially in the garden!
Who wouldn’t want a Double Scoop Cranberry (Echinacea x)? They are looking beautiful in the yard right now and we have many more that will be potted soon.

This plant color pops in the garden. It is a vibrant berry red. (Notice in the photo on the left the yellow grass brings out the red color tones and the flowers away from it appear more pink.) It blooms July to September and benefits from a spent-bloom clean up. This plant has great stature. It is well branched with sturdy stems and reaches 24-28″ high. Use as a long lasting cut flower, attracts butterflies and if late flowers are left on the plant the seeds help feed the birds in winter.

Plant this novelty in full sun because it loves the heat. Great for the perennial border, rockery or wild life garden. Enjoy! -Marnie
